Cameras of the 1900's
During the first decennium of the new century a lot of new Kodak models appeared. They were less bulky than in the previous period. Also smaller picture sizes for the snapshooting family photographers were introduced. The most prominent models from the era are the Folding Pocket Kodaks and the Brownies. The first Folding Pocket Kodak was introduced in 1897 but I list the models here because they are typical for the first decennium of the 20th century. The very cheap Brownie box cameras made photography available for many people. But at the same time new models for the "serious" amateur photographer were introduced, like the Eastman Plate cameras and the Speed Kodaks.
