Through the Viewfinder (TTV) photography

This is a relatively new kind of creative photography. With a modern camera the picture of the viewfinder of an older camera is photographed. The results are often special and have a quality of their own.
It is an interesting way to use the antique cameras in my collection, without having to use sheet films and chemicals. The results do not show the quality of the photos that could be produced with the cameras. The picture on the ground glass was never intended to be photographed. The photographer used it to compose and focus the image.

Above the set of cameras, connected with a box to avoid light to spoil the image on the ground glass. The old camera is a No. 4 Folding Kodet Special.
